Was so Excited to see the demo for the 2nd Arcadie out given how much I freakin' ADORED Second Born -- and it didn't disappoint. So satisfying (but also sad b/c losing all my family hit me all over again 😭) being back in this world and getting to continue my (Queen)baby's story. The pace felt brisk after you're officially crowned, but I didn't hate it as that's, no doubt, how our MC Royal feels with having all these duties thrust upon them.

First bit, after coronation, was especially gratifying since I romanced Willeen and it felt like the intimacy/moment I was CRAVING from the first book since it was such a slow burn. Second Born's end felt a tad rushed since there was so much ground to cover, and compared to Cyril, I missed having more of those romantic moments where W could express themself outside their mask of duty/professionalism. Already, in this 2nd book, I feel we're getting sooo much MORE of W; seeing who they are now that they've Well and Accepted they're in love. And that they can no longer seem to resist the fact, either. 😏 That doesn't mean it's turbulence-free (looking forward to the whole 'marry' ordeal); and I'd have it no other way~

One question I did have -- and this is 100% given as solely honest curiosity/feedback: I was curious to see the difference between sex scenes between M/F and a F/F partners in W/MC route -- and the former had more description than the latter. Couldn't help wondering if it was just - -more familiarity with M/F intimacy writing or if it just happened to end up that way. Do you have sensitivity testers for that sort of thing?
